A recent ZNBC TV2 news feature highlighted the work of House of Hope Lusaka and the Zambia Association for Hydrocephalus and Spina Bifida in supporting children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus and their families.
The report brings attention to a difficult reality faced by many mothers and caregivers: when fathers are absent or family support is limited, mothers are often left to carry the emotional, practical, and financial responsibility of care alone.
Through parent support groups, practical guidance, and community-based care, House of Hope Lusaka provides a space where families can receive support, share experiences, and access knowledge that helps children with spina bifida and hydrocephalus live with dignity and hope.
Together with our partners in Zambia, Child-Help International continues to stand with children and families with spina bifida and hydrocephalus
